tartan pleats

So my Saturday started off with a visit to my favourite hairdessing salon, Rokk Ebony. My fabulous hairdresser, Yoshi, cut my fringe and now I can see again!! Just kidding. I always feel fabulous after seeing him.

The weather here in Melbourne has been incredibly hot, and today the mercury soared to 37 degrees celsius. Well, with Melbourne being Melbourne, this evening there has come about a cool change, dropping to only 19 degrees. At least the cool change brings fellow Melbournians a pleasant breeze and relief from the scorching heat of the day.

We spent the day at home, enjoying a scrumptious barbecue with my husband and mum. Nothing beats the company of those you love. Later, I spent some time decorating our Christmas tree, with carols playing in the background. Now our home feels like Christmas.

Wishing you a fabulous evening, whatever you do. Stay happy and wonderfully fashionable.

Yours in style,

gelati in the gardens

I was joking with my better half about the outfit I chose to wear to our special family reunion. We needed to travel into the city to the Fitzroy Gardens, and on our journey, we kept eachother entertained by thinking of gelati flavours which matched my oufit. In the end we decided upon raspberry, strawberry, vanilla & mango! The morning was quite fresh, so I decided to wear a layer of silk/cashmere over my silk chiffon shirt. This magical blend always comes through when I'm in need of extra warmth and comfort. This ensemble was the perfect match for my raspberry coloured skirt!  For a picnic, flats seemed like the perfect choice, because of their practicality. So I decided to bring a touch of mango to the gelati mix! These mustard coloured, patent leather ballet flats, are so chic and comfortable. They are one of my favourite pairs of Repetto ballet flats, purchased from the fabulous Alice & Deb at Treasurette. Check out

I love miu mui

My absolute favourite international designer has to be mui mui . I find myself falling in love again and again, with each new season collection. Muiccia Prada's label is fun, feminine and fabulous!  We're really lucky to have a mui mui store in Melbourne actually. For anyone who has ever been to Chadstone Shopping Centre, you would know it is the fashion Mecca for anyone looking for high-end designer clothing and accessories. Every single time I go to Chadstone, without fail, I pay a special visit to mui mui. I know mui mui garments, shoes, and accessories are on the more expensive side, but a girl can dream right? There's just something extremely appealing to me that keeps me coming back season after season. Now to save up for a piece to call my own some day...            Do you have a high-end international designer who you really enjoy? Who is it and what makes them so appealing to you? Enjoy t

sandy liang fall/winter '22

It's been some time between posts as I have been waiting for something to inspire me. So when one of my favourite designers, Sandy Liang, released the look book from her new Fall/Winter '22 collection, I was so excited, that I decided to edit these looks into ten of my favourites. Sandy Liang stays true to her aesthetic each season. Like previous collections, there are hints of Marie Antoinette and Ballet. The way Sandy Liang fuses the two together is amazing. I am drawn to anything to do with ballet, so, of course, I love this collection! My favourite pieces are the cotton dresses with bow detailing, the trench coat dress, camel corduroy skirt pants and layered knitwear. So wearable, but whimsical in a very grown-up kind of way. Pure genius! Can't wait for the collection to land in Australia. Which are your favourites? Yours in style,  Suzi x Photos by  @zorasicher  c/o Sandy Liang NY
