Caring for your Woollen Sweaters

It always irks me whenever a sales consultant tells me that you cannot  hand wash woollens and to follow the directions on the label. For years, I have been hand washing my knitwear and ignored the care label reading 'Dry clean'. One of my favourite new season pieces by Burberry has got to be the short-sleeve wool/silk shirt dress in off white. Very reminiscent of Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly. Vintage inspired, this dress would flatter any figure.  What do you think about designers going back to the 80s and 90s? Would you prefer to see more classic pieces in your favourite
