The Kangnam Collection by Gasparre Cashmere was inspired by designer Rebecca McGeoch's recent trip to Seoul in South Korea. Rebecca's inspiration was the city's street-style colours and styles, as well as the people and the surrounding architecture. The collection's strong colour palette reflects the luxury that is the city of Kangnam, where there is a playful interplay between bold colours, patterns and textures.
This collection is bold, playful and chic. The colourways used are strikingly beautiful, with the interplaying of neon brights and classic colourways, such as white and navy. I love the fusion of colour, stripes as well as the crochet-styling. My favourite ensemble has to be the striped sweater-cardy combo. It's simply divine!
What is your favourite piece?
Well, this weekend has just flown by. Yesterday the day started off nicely with a pampering session at the hairdressers, followed by some car-hunting, and finished off perfectly with a romantic dinner for two. Today has been a bit more low-key, consisting of a relaxing catch-up with my mother and later on, an enjoyable afternoon spent at home, pottering around.
I'm so excited to say that I have one more week of work and then I take a break for two weeks! I am really looking forward to relaxing over the holidays, as this term has been rather hectic, to say the least.
How has your weekend been? Did you get up to much?
