Vibrant earthy colours, geometric patterns and stripes are seen once again in the new M Missoni Winter 18/19 collection. The collection brings back memories of growing up in the 1970s with bold colours of mustard, lime green, brown and turquoise.

The new Winter capsule allows items to be interchanged and worn mixed and matched in different ways, for instance, a skirt worn with a coordinating knit and cardigan. M Missoni are outstanding in their ability to use complementary colours and patterns, allowing for seamless interchange between garments.

Whats your favourite piece from M Missoni's new collection? Mine's the green wave motif dress with long sleeves (Look 2)!

Hope you have a great weekend and week ahead! I am looking forward to celebrating with my cousin and his fiance at their wedding in a week's time. Who knows, I may even wear a piece from my M Missoni collection.

Top 5: Miu Miu Edit S/S '19

Another live stream runway show I had the pleasure of viewing was the Miu Miu Spring/Summer '19 show live from Paris Fashion Week. A highlight included looks from the red carpet as worn by famous models, actresses and digital influences, such as Australia's very own Margaret Zhang. Another highlight included seeing the image projection of models onto the new Miu Miu logo. Although, seemingly "out there", it was a very interesting and exciting way to begin the show.

I loved the bow details as seen on blouses, headbands, eyewear and shoes. Tailored blazers and coats from an array of luxe fabrics were seen in the majority of looks from the collection.

The new Spring/Summer '19 Miu Miu collecion captures the very essence of the brand: feminine, chic and girly. Lots of sparkles, glitter and crystals featured in the new collection, an element that has become Miu Miu's signature. I couldn't help but capture tiny hints reminiscent of the 1920s "Flapper Girl" Era, with fringing used and exaggerated floral accents. Silhouettes were a  combination of flirty and structured.

It was hard to choose my favourite looks, but I managed to somehow get these down to my top 5. Phew!

What's your favourite look from the collection?

Enjoy the rest of the weekend! Next week, I'm back to work after a lovely two week's off.

Giambattista Valli edit S/S '19

Giambattista Valli RTW Spring 2019

For those of you who follow me on Instagram, you will probably know how much I love Italian born, Paris based designer, Giambattista Valli. So you can imagine just how excited I was to find out that the Paris Spring Summer '19 show was going to be streamed live!

All I had to do in order to make sure I didn't miss out, was to check the time in Paris and work out the time difference. It turns out, Paris is actually 8 hours behind Australia! Then I simply set my alarm on my iphone to the correct time. Eight hours later, there I was, in the comfort of my own home, enjoying the runway of my favourite designer!

Here's my edit of my favourite pieces from the collection. I loved the floaty white dresses, but I'm definitely not a huge fan of the leopard print/safari inspired looks from the collection.

Did you watch any of the runways live stream or were you lucky enough to be there in person? I'd love to know. Please leave a comment below.
