The funny thing about this skirt was that prior to purchasing it, I had a picture in my mind of the exact same type of brocade skirt, but thought I'd have to get it made because I had seen nothing like it in any of the shops I frequent. Little did I know that I would find it hanging on a rack, ready made, and in my size too. Life's funny like that sometimes. Some things are just meant to be.
I had another very full-on week of work and the Summer holidays I had not that long ago now feel like a distant memory. I've certainly been faced with some challenges at work of late, but have risen above them a stronger person, with a vision for a promising year. I think it's really important that no matter how hard things may get, one must never, ever give up.
I'm also very happy to say I managed to find time in between all of my work commitments to apply for media accreditation for the LMFF in March. Cross your fingers that it is approved. One can only live in hope. Plus, if you don't try, you won't succeed.
Wishing you the perfect kind of weekend!
Yours in style,
