Arabella Ramsay Winter Solstice Sale

As mentioned in my previous post, I popped into the Arabella Ramsay boutique in Armadale today. What a gorgeous place this is! You really must have a look and check out her fabulous collections and the eclectic interior design elements.

Arabella Ramsay are currently having a Winter Solstice sale, where garments from the Arabella Ramsay and Ryder collections are going for 40% off their RRP!! I was lucky enough to buy two garments which I shall reveal in future posts, so stay tuned!! For the time being, here's some snaps of the boutique for you to see from a previous trip there. It's a mini virtual tour and visual treat for your eyes only!! Hope you like it!

Every time I visit Arabella Ramsay, I am greeted by such friendly, helpful sales staff, who are more than happy to help with any styling questions or to simply have a chat. I highly recommend you pay the store a visit, whether you live in Melbourne or are travelling from interstate or overseas. You may wish to check out another post I did on Arabella Ramsay by clicking on this link!

Have a fabulous Sunday! What are you up to? I'll be pottering around the home and no doubt reading my new June/July edition of RUSSH magazine.

Yours in style,
Suzi x

gelati in the gardens

I was joking with my better half about the outfit I chose to wear to our special family reunion. We needed to travel into the city to the Fitzroy Gardens, and on our journey, we kept eachother entertained by thinking of gelati flavours which matched my oufit. In the end we decided upon raspberry, strawberry, vanilla & mango! The morning was quite fresh, so I decided to wear a layer of silk/cashmere over my silk chiffon shirt. This magical blend always comes through when I'm in need of extra warmth and comfort. This ensemble was the perfect match for my raspberry coloured skirt!  For a picnic, flats seemed like the perfect choice, because of their practicality. So I decided to bring a touch of mango to the gelati mix! These mustard coloured, patent leather ballet flats, are so chic and comfortable. They are one of my favourite pairs of Repetto ballet flats, purchased from the fabulous Alice & Deb at Treasurette. Check out

Ballistic for Bally

I have always loved Bally , especially their shoes. They're made with the softest, luxurious leather I have ever worn. Bally were my first ever pair of high end designer shoes and they fit like a glove. So this post is going to be dedicated to one of the most prestigious design houses and their amazingly comfortable, chic shoes.  Here's some of my favourites from Bally's new S/S '12 collection: Which is your favourite? I love the classic black Otty-Crest pump and the teal and navy Palda wedge sandals. Have a great week! Mine will be an interesting one. I finish teaching for the term this coming Wednesday and go on a staff retreat to Creswick for the rest of the week. I'm looking forward to breathing in the crisp, clean country air! My top ten must-haves!

Fashion fads come & go, but real style stands the test of time. As mentioned earlier, I'm one for classics versus trends. I love buying clothing that lasts and is therefore timeless.  I have put myself up for the challenge of finding classic pieces using Audrey Hepburn as an example. Here's my list of the top ten must-haves!! 1. Man's style classic buttoned down white shirt 2. LBD-Little Black Dress 3. A-Line dress/skirt 4. Trench Coat (Burberry is the original) 5. Black turtleneck sweater (Preferably cashmere) 6. Leopard print (one piece at a time/NEVER more than one!!) 7. Silk Scarf (Preferably Hermes) 8. Ballet Flats 9. Pearls (Earrings/necklace) 10. Investment handbag (look to Chanel, Louis Vuitton and Prada for classic styles)   What's your favourite out of my top ten must-haves?  Enjoy your weekend and, whatever you do, make sure you do it in st
