As most of you probably know by reading my blog, I'm more of a sweater girl, but there are days where I feel like wearing a blazer. My absolute favourite has to be my Max & Co boxy taupe blazer. Max & Co are part of the MaxMara Group, who also own Christensen Copenhagen. They stock some of the most amazing pieces and their tailoring is superb!
I love pairing my jeans with a blazer. It's the epitomy of chic. I enjoy wearing this because of the multitude of styling options. It even looks fabulous worn over an LBD! That's why I prefer to invest in pieces, because I know that the cost per wear far outweighs the initial expense.
This blazer is a boxy, cropped fit, which suits a petite frame. I enjoy wearing this one because it's so comfortable and looks great whether it's buttoned up or left undone. The ruched sleeves are cropped and have buttons. In addition to this, there are two buttons on the back with ruching. I really love the pleating at the back and front as well!
The only downside to this blazer is that it is made from a blend of linen and cotton, which means that it does crease a little. So when I am travelling in the car, I have to remove it to avoid looking like a crinkled up paperbag! Having said that, the fact that it is made from a percentage of linen means that it can be worn on even the hottest day.
Do you enjoy wearing blazers? How do you style yours?
I hope you've all had a great start to the week! I'm starting to get really excited because the Loreal Melbourne Fashion Festival is just around the corner! Fingers crossed I get to go to some of the runway events!
Yours in style,
