Burberry Prorsum Guernsey Detail Cashmere Sweater

After completing my, 'What's missing in my closet?" checklist, I decided it was time to update my cashmere sweater collection.

I own one cashmere sweater from Pringle Scotland and love the way this cashmere feels. It was without hesitation that I decided to place an order for a sweater made from Scottish yarn, from the new Burberry Prorsum Spring/Summer 2014 collection. I felt certain that I would be receiving something very special.

My garment of choice was the guernsey detail cashmere sweater in the colour grey melange. I love the guernsey detailing and the wide bands on the hips and cuffs. The cashmere is buttery soft and feels so luxurious against the skin.

I was excited to pick up my sweater today from Burberry Chadstone. I cannot wait to wear it and know I will continue to do so for many years to come.

Well, it's report writing time for me at present, and I can tell you that, although it is part of my job as a primary teacher, it is quite an arduous, time-consuming task. I'm sure I'll get through it though and look forward to having more leisure time again. Wish me luck!

Yours in style,
Suzi x

gelati in the gardens

I was joking with my better half about the outfit I chose to wear to our special family reunion. We needed to travel into the city to the Fitzroy Gardens, and on our journey, we kept eachother entertained by thinking of gelati flavours which matched my oufit. In the end we decided upon raspberry, strawberry, vanilla & mango! The morning was quite fresh, so I decided to wear a layer of silk/cashmere over my silk chiffon shirt. This magical blend always comes through when I'm in need of extra warmth and comfort. This ensemble was the perfect match for my raspberry coloured skirt!  For a picnic, flats seemed like the perfect choice, because of their practicality. So I decided to bring a touch of mango to the gelati mix! These mustard coloured, patent leather ballet flats, are so chic and comfortable. They are one of my favourite pairs of Repetto ballet flats, purchased from the fabulous Alice & Deb at Treasurette. Check out

I love miu mui

My absolute favourite international designer has to be mui mui . I find myself falling in love again and again, with each new season collection. Muiccia Prada's label is fun, feminine and fabulous!  We're really lucky to have a mui mui store in Melbourne actually. For anyone who has ever been to Chadstone Shopping Centre, you would know it is the fashion Mecca for anyone looking for high-end designer clothing and accessories. Every single time I go to Chadstone, without fail, I pay a special visit to mui mui. I know mui mui garments, shoes, and accessories are on the more expensive side, but a girl can dream right? There's just something extremely appealing to me that keeps me coming back season after season. Now to save up for a piece to call my own some day...            Do you have a high-end international designer who you really enjoy? Who is it and what makes them so appealing to you? Enjoy t

sandy liang fall/winter '22

It's been some time between posts as I have been waiting for something to inspire me. So when one of my favourite designers, Sandy Liang, released the look book from her new Fall/Winter '22 collection, I was so excited, that I decided to edit these looks into ten of my favourites. Sandy Liang stays true to her aesthetic each season. Like previous collections, there are hints of Marie Antoinette and Ballet. The way Sandy Liang fuses the two together is amazing. I am drawn to anything to do with ballet, so, of course, I love this collection! My favourite pieces are the cotton dresses with bow detailing, the trench coat dress, camel corduroy skirt pants and layered knitwear. So wearable, but whimsical in a very grown-up kind of way. Pure genius! Can't wait for the collection to land in Australia. Which are your favourites? Yours in style,  Suzi x Photos by  @zorasicher  c/o Sandy Liang NY
