Maison Martin Margiela for H&M

I admit to getting rather excited when I hear about high end designers collaborating with high street labels. Such is the case with French fashion house, Maison Martin Margiela and H&M. 

I guess I won't be able to have first hand experience of the collection, since Australia does not as yet have a H&M, but I foresee that this may be a possibility some time down the track. 









 
You can purchase current footwear collections by Maison Martin Margiela from Deb & Alice of Treasurette, a fabulous boutique, boasting high end designer footwear and accessories. Located in the heart of the city, there's no excuse but to pay them a visit the next time you venture out that way.

I can't tell you how happy I am that it is Friday. My week has been extremely hectic with, from testing students through to corrections and typing of student reports, it has been full on. Even though I shall be continuing my reports this weekend, it's so good having some quiet time at home.

gelati in the gardens

I was joking with my better half about the outfit I chose to wear to our special family reunion. We needed to travel into the city to the Fitzroy Gardens, and on our journey, we kept eachother entertained by thinking of gelati flavours which matched my oufit. Ballistic for Bally

I have always loved Bally , especially their shoes. They're made with the softest, luxurious leather I have ever worn. Bally were my first ever pair of high end designer shoes and they fit like a glove. So this post is going to be dedicated to one of the most prestigious design houses and their amazingly comfortable, chic shoes.  Here's some of my favourites from Bally's new S/S '12 collection: Which is your favourite? I love the classic black Otty-Crest pump and the teal and navy Palda wedge sandals. Have a great week! Mine will be an interesting one. Paint Spot

I've always loved dresses with spots, ever since I spotted Julia Roberts from the movie Pretty Woman, wearing one. They're so feminine and pretty.  A couple of months ago, while perusing Karen Walker 's Spring/Summer collection online, I eyed this paint spot dress and couldn't resist it. I decided I would wear it on Christmas Day, rain, hail or shine. I was so lucky Melbourne's weather was behaving itself that day. Lucky for me! I cannot believe Christmas has been and gone already and now we're into the new year. Over the festive season, a wonderful time was had, catching up with family and my closest friends.
