Baby, I'm feeling blue

I have this fabulous baby blue argyle cashmere sweater which I love to wear when I'm feeling blue! It cheers me up in an instant and makes me feel warm and cosy. Another little soft and cuddly little thing in my life that cheers me up as well, is my fluffy companion, my little dog. His name is Scrufffy and he is adorable! Always there when I need him, so reliable, so lovable.

What do you do on days when you're feeling blue?

Hope you're having a fabulous week. I have had one of the most stressful weeks ever, but I'm getting through it, day by day. I cannot wait to see the tail end of these student reports. I'm definitely looking forward to having some free time again.

By the way, if you live in Melbourne and know of any new boutique openings or new designers, please let me know as I love to show my support. Thanks. x

Drop me a line if you have anything at all you would like me to answer related to style/beauty/designers. I'd love to help!

Yours in style,

gelati in the gardens

I was joking with my better half about the outfit I chose to wear to our special family reunion. We needed to travel into the city to the Fitzroy Gardens, and on our journey, we kept eachother entertained by thinking of gelati flavours which matched my oufit. In the end we decided upon raspberry, strawberry, vanilla & mango! The morning was quite fresh, so I decided to wear a layer of silk/cashmere over my silk chiffon shirt. This magical blend always comes through when I'm in need of extra warmth and comfort. This ensemble was the perfect match for my raspberry coloured skirt!  For a picnic, flats seemed like the perfect choice, because of their practicality. So I decided to bring a touch of mango to the gelati mix! These mustard coloured, patent leather ballet flats, are so chic and comfortable. They are one of my favourite pairs of Repetto ballet flats, purchased from the fabulous Alice & Deb at Treasurette. Check out

Ballistic for Bally

I have always loved Bally , especially their shoes. They're made with the softest, luxurious leather I have ever worn. Bally were my first ever pair of high end designer shoes and they fit like a glove. So this post is going to be dedicated to one of the most prestigious design houses and their amazingly comfortable, chic shoes.  Here's some of my favourites from Bally's new S/S '12 collection: Which is your favourite? I love the classic black Otty-Crest pump and the teal and navy Palda wedge sandals. Have a great week! Mine will be an interesting one. I finish teaching for the term this coming Wednesday and go on a staff retreat to Creswick for the rest of the week. I'm looking forward to breathing in the crisp, clean country air! 2020-The Year of Surprises

A couple of years back, I was so disappointed to discover that the beautiful Ralph Lauren Boutique in Collins Street, Melbourne, was closing its doors. Unfortunately for me,  it was actually closing permanently. I loved shopping at Ralph Lauren because they were the only store in Melbourne to carry the high-end Ralph Lauren Collection , otherwise known as Purple Label. So began the search for a store in Australia. Unfortunately, there was no good news, after several phone calls and emails to and fro from customer service. My absolute favourite label, the Ralph Lauren Collection, would sadly become a distant, fading memory.  Fast track forward to 2020-the year of surprises; a year proven to be vastly different and challenging, for many reasons which need no mention,  I found out some very exciting news which was like absolute music to my ears! Ralph Lauren Collection is now available in Australia! Ralph Lauren Collection is now available at Chatswood Chase, New South Wales. Perhaps it w
