Chloe: The 4 C's

I am loving anything and everything Chloe at the moment, oh, that is except the perfume. In my previous post, I revealed my top five favourites for every day (see this post) and explained that I prefer lighter fragrances. My mum and niece both adore Chloe perfumes and I'm sure many of you out there do too. But I won't be talking to you about their perfume. Here, it's all about the clothes!

I have always been a big fan of Chloe clothing and accessories, especially their handbags and shoes. The only thing stopping me from owning a piece of Chloe is the hefty price tag. Perhaps some day, when I go to the David Jones sales in the city, I may spoil myself, but for now, I'm happy just window shopping.

So, what do I think a Chloe girl exudes? A Chloe girl would have to have all of the 4 C's- She would need to be classic, chic, charming and charismatic. Are you a Chloe girl?

Here's my edit of some of my favourite looks. I've chosen these pieces because I love the clean lines, the neutral colours and the fact they are classic, timeless pieces.

What's your favourite piece? Mine has to be the classic LBD, of course, but I also love the peachy/nude tones as well!

Today I indulged in some retail therapy and it felt so good! I bought myself a present from Christensen Copenhagen at Westfield, Doncaster. Can you guess what it was? I'll reveal all in my next blog post. Watch this space!

I hope your weekend has been fabulous and the coming week is just as good for you.

By the way, I'd love to hear from you! I really do value your thoughts and opinions, so feel free to leave a comment below.

gelati in the gardens

I was joking with my better half about the outfit I chose to wear to our special family reunion. We needed to travel into the city to the Fitzroy Gardens, and on our journey, we kept eachother entertained by thinking of gelati flavours which matched my oufit. In the end we decided upon raspberry, strawberry, vanilla & mango! The morning was quite fresh, so I decided to wear a layer of silk/cashmere over my silk chiffon shirt. This magical blend always comes through when I'm in need of extra warmth and comfort. This ensemble was the perfect match for my raspberry coloured skirt!  For a picnic, flats seemed like the perfect choice, because of their practicality. So I decided to bring a touch of mango to the gelati mix! These mustard coloured, patent leather ballet flats, are so chic and comfortable. They are one of my favourite pairs of Repetto ballet flats, purchased from the fabulous Alice & Deb at Treasurette. Check out

Olga De Polga

Melbourne based designer Olga de Polga  is renowned for their use of colour and vibrant patterns. I really enjoy adding a pop of colour when I style outfits, so if you love colour, you are bound to find something fabulous. On my recent visit, I picked up two pairs of Lillian pants, a new style to ODP, in both pink and caramel. These colours go so well with other pieces in my wardrobe. Style tip: I will not add anything to my wardrobe if it doesn't go with other pieces, so I am very particular when choosing a new piece to add to my collection. The cords fit really well, sitting at mid-waist and fall at the perfect length. The corduroy fabric is soft and feels so cosy, so perfect for Winter here in Melbourne!  Have you visited Olga de Polga? If so, what are your favourite pieces? If you haven't been in store yet, make sure you do so soon, because some styles are selling out really fast. Have a great rest of the week! Yours in style, Suzi x  What I'm Wearing ODP Lillian pants

Grace Kelly: Style Icon

Some of you may know already that I recently went on a country  girls' getaway with my mother to Bendigo to view the Grace Kelly: A Style Icon exhibition. I am so thrilled that I did! It was simply amazing.  The package I purchased was the Country Girls' Getaway, which included one nights accomadation at the City Centre Motel (4 star), breakfast, in-house Grace Kelly Movies, plus 2 x tickets to the exhibition. The special pack I received upon check-in, which included a terrific shopping and dining guide, special discounts and maps. The exhibition was held at the Bendigo Art Gallery. The session was timed by the hour to prevent the influx of visitors, which I felt worked really well. There was plenty of room and I didn't feel like I needed to hurry up, so instead, took my time, taking in every detail. I could have spent all day looking at every single minute detail of each and every one of the stunning gowns that adorned this beau
