B & B

Bec & Bridge have an awesome new collection Jardin Exotica; a collection which offers so much in the way of nudes & pastels!

I am a sucker for pastels. They remind me of the loveheart shaped candy lollies I used to buy as a child from the local milkbar.

My eyes were drawn to the pastel pinks as they're my favourite out of all the pastel colours in the pastel rainbow (You can also see my previous blog post for more pastel inspiration here).

Nudes go with anything & everything and are a must have in any fashionista's wardrobe. I can't wait to show you what I'm receiving for my birthday coming up next month!

I have edited this collection, and here's my top five looks. Enjoy!

Bec & Bridge will be showcasing their AW '12 collection during the MBFWA in Sydney, Wednesday, 2nd May. I'm certain it will be a real showstopper!

I hope you've had a fabulous weekend! I'm looking forward to following the MBFWA on their website, follow this link & you can too.

Feel free to leave me a comment as I read & respond to them all!

French nautical

Ilove stripes, especially navy & white. It's very Parisian chic! My favourite Breton striped cashmere/silk blend sweater has been the absolute best investment of all time.

There are trends that come and go and then there are classics. I tend to steer towards the classics. The striped boatneck sweater is yet another timeless piece which should live in everyone's closet.

I stumbled across some old pics of movie starlets wearing nautical stripes, such as my favourite style icon, Audrey Hepburn. Years have passed and the striped sweater still looks as fabulous as it did back in its heyday.

This sweater I'm wearing is by Australian label Bezoar. They seem to have fallen off the radar at present, so I hope that in the future I can purchase another one like this!

This is my go-to outfit for comfort and style when I need to run some errands. What's yours?
Hoping that your weekend was fabulous and your week is even better!

What I'm Wearing: Sweater-Bez…

Caring for your Woollen Sweaters

It always irks me whenever a sales consultant tells me that you cannot  hand wash woollens and to follow the directions on the label. For years, I have been hand washing my knitwear and ignored the care label reading 'Dry clean'. The majority of my sweaters are made by high end designers, such as Ralph Lauren Collection and Burberry, and because they have been taken care of, still look brand new.

Here's what I do to keep my sweaters looking fabulous. If the sweater is 100% cashmere you need to fill a small tub of lukewarm water using a small amount of Wool Mix. I ALWAYS use Martha Gardner, Eucalyptus. I wash the sweater by gently moving the garment through the water and gently squeezing the sweater, but never pulling or tugging. Then I leave the sweater in the water to soak for about five minutes (not always needed-do skip this step if the garment is not heavily soiled). Afterwards, I rinse the sweater in lukewarm water until the water comes out clear. Do not lift the swea…

Top 5: Miu Miu Edit S/S '19

Another live stream runway show I had the pleasure of viewing was the Miu Miu Spring/Summer '19 show live from Paris Fashion Week. A highlight included looks from the red carpet as worn by famous models, actresses and digital influences, such as Australia's very own Margaret Zhang. Another highlight included seeing the image projection of models onto the new Miu Miu logo. Although, seemingly "out there", it was a very interesting and exciting way to begin the show.

I loved the bow details as seen on blouses, headbands, eyewear and shoes. Tailored blazers and coats from an array of luxe fabrics were seen in the majority of looks from the collection.

The new Spring/Summer '19 Miu Miu collecion captures the very essence of the brand: feminine, chic and girly. Lots of sparkles, glitter and crystals featured in the new collection, an element that has become Miu Miu's signature. I couldn't help but capture tiny hints reminiscent of the 1920s "Flapper Girl&…
