2020-The Year of Surprises

A couple of years back, I was so disappointed to discover that the beautiful Ralph Lauren Boutique in Collins Street, Melbourne, was closing its doors. Unfortunately for me, it was actually closing permanently. I loved shopping at Ralph Lauren because they were the only store in Melbourne to carry the high-end Ralph Lauren Collection, otherwise known as Purple Label. So began the search for a store in Australia. Unfortunately, there was no good news, after several phone calls and emails to and fro from customer service. My absolute favourite label, the Ralph Lauren Collection, would sadly become a distant, fading memory.

Fast track forward to 2020-the year of surprises; a year proven to be vastly different and challenging, for many reasons which need no mention, I found out some very exciting news which was like absolute music to my ears! Ralph Lauren Collection is now available in Australia!

Ralph Lauren Collection is now available at Chatswood Chase, New South Wales. Perhaps it was all along, and nobody bothered to let me know! Either way, I am just happy to know that Ralph Lauren Collection is still accessible to me, albeit, interstate.

gelati in the gardens

I was joking with my better half about the outfit I chose to wear to our special family reunion. We needed to travel into the city to the Fitzroy Gardens, and on our journey, we kept eachother entertained by thinking of gelati flavours which matched my oufit. In the end we decided upon raspberry, strawberry, vanilla & mango! The morning was quite fresh, so I decided to wear a layer of silk/cashmere over my silk chiffon shirt. This magical blend always comes through when I'm in need of extra warmth and comfort. This ensemble was the perfect match for my raspberry coloured skirt! For a picnic, flats seemed like the perfect choice, because of their practicality. So I decided to bring a touch of mango to the gelati mix! Ballistic for Bally

I have always loved Bally , especially their shoes. They're made with the softest, luxurious leather I have ever worn. Bally were my first ever pair of high end designer shoes and they fit like a glove. So this post is going to be dedicated to one of the most prestigious design houses and their amazingly comfortable, chic shoes. Here's some of my favourites from Bally's new S/S '12 collection: Which is your favourite? I love the classic black Otty-Crest pump and the teal and navy Palda wedge sandals. Have a great week! Valentine's Day 2025

Every year we absolutely love celebrating Valentine's Day and this year was no exception. I have been fortunate that my husband could take time off work to spend the day with me. There were so many options of what we could do and where to go, places like the countryside in the Yarra Valley or beach town of Torquay, but we ultimately decided to stay in Melbourne, as the weather was going to be around 23 degrees Celsius. There are many choice of cafes in Melbourne, but one of our favourites is Hello Sailor . I first stumbled upon this quaint cafe when shopping in Auburn Village, located in the leafy suburb of Hawthorn. I pre- ordered an almond croissant as they often sell out and since I cannot eat garlic nor onion, I am very limited with choices. Hubby chose the beef tacos which he enjoyed with a fresh juice and I enjoyed the loose leaf Earl Grey, which is served in the chicest see-through tea pot. We had a lovely chat and a relaxed time.
