Back to my favourites

Well, I am finally back on the blog and boy, have I missed it. Life has been extremely hectic and I have had little down-time of late. My work a a primary teacher, whilst rewarding, is hectic, crazy and demanding. It is report writing time for me, and I am hoping that writing on the side, will help get me through all the stress. I have missed posting on here but now I am back, it feels wonderful! The blog is definitely one of my favourites in my life.

Speaking of favourites, today my most favourite, "can't live without" beauty product is now back on the shelf in my vanity. I am talking about Creme de la Mer: the ultrarich creme. I do not know how I have survived without this for as long as I have.

The price is quite excessive, but I strongly believe that you get what you pay for. If I added up the total price of all of the beauty products I have used recently, I think I would come fairly close to breaking even. You see, when you buy inexpensive, low range beauty products, the results are not as good, and you need to used double the quantity, so as a consequence, you run out of them quicker.

So I am content with having these two favourites back in my life!

I would love to hear about your "favourites". Leave your comments below!

Yours in style,

Suzi x

gelati in the gardens

I was joking with my better half about the outfit I chose to wear to our special family reunion. We needed to travel into the city to the Fitzroy Gardens, and on our journey, we kept eachother entertained by thinking of gelati flavours which matched my oufit. In the end we decided upon raspberry, strawberry, vanilla & mango! The morning was quite fresh, so I decided to wear a layer of silk/cashmere over my silk chiffon shirt. This magical blend always comes through when I'm in need of extra warmth and comfort. This ensemble was the perfect match for my raspberry coloured skirt!  For a picnic, flats seemed like the perfect choice, because of their practicality. So I decided to bring a touch of mango to the gelati mix! These mustard coloured, patent leather ballet flats, are so chic and comfortable. They are one of my favourite pairs of Repetto ballet flats, purchased from the fabulous Alice & Deb at Treasurette. Check out

Ballistic for Bally

I have always loved Bally , especially their shoes. They're made with the softest, luxurious leather I have ever worn. Bally were my first ever pair of high end designer shoes and they fit like a glove. So this post is going to be dedicated to one of the most prestigious design houses and their amazingly comfortable, chic shoes.  Here's some of my favourites from Bally's new S/S '12 collection: Which is your favourite? I love the classic black Otty-Crest pump and the teal and navy Palda wedge sandals. Have a great week! Mine will be an interesting one. I finish teaching for the term this coming Wednesday and go on a staff retreat to Creswick for the rest of the week. I'm looking forward to breathing in the crisp, clean country air! Investment handbag (look to Chanel, Louis Vuitton and Prada for classic styles)   What's your favourite out of my top ten must-haves?  Enjoy your weekend and, whatever you do, make sure you do it in st
