The Perfect LBD





One weekend, I went looking around the international designer section of Myer, when, all of a sudden, something made me stop dead in my tracks.

There hanging on a black, velvet, gold hanger was the most perfect LBD. The dress in question was designed by Giambattista Valli, Paris. It was made from the most luxurious silk and lined in floaty silk organza. There was a bow detailing the neckline and waist. Accents I adore.

I held my breath in anticipation. Would it fit? Being a petite size, it is incredibly difficult to find clothing with the right proportion, style and fit.

When I tried the dress on, I let out a sigh of relief. It fitted me perfectly, so much so that I wondered whether it had been made just for me. 

So I guess my quest of finding the perfect LBD is now over....well, for now anyway, that is until the next Giambattista Valli dress!  Just kidding!

gelati in the gardens

I was joking with my better half about the outfit I chose to wear to our special family reunion. We needed to travel into the city to the Fitzroy Gardens, and on our journey, we kept eachother entertained by thinking of gelati flavours which matched my oufit. Ballistic for Bally

I have always loved Bally , especially their shoes. They're made with the softest, luxurious leather I have ever worn. Bally were my first ever pair of high end designer shoes and they fit like a glove. So this post is going to be dedicated to one of the most prestigious design houses and their amazingly comfortable, chic shoes.  Here's some of my favourites from Bally's new S/S '12 collection: Which is your favourite? Paint Spot

I've always loved dresses with spots, ever since I spotted Julia Roberts from the movie Pretty Woman, wearing one. They're so feminine and pretty.  A couple of months ago, while perusing Karen Walker 's Spring/Summer collection online, I eyed this paint spot dress and couldn't resist it. I decided I would wear it on Christmas Day, rain, hail or shine. I was so lucky Melbourne's weather was behaving itself that day. Lucky for me! I cannot believe Christmas has been and gone already and now we're into the new year. Over the festive season, a wonderful time was had, catching up with family and my closest friends.
