Oh, E L L E R Y! You've done it again!

Oh, E L L E R Y ! You've done it again. These exact words crossed my mind as I perused the new Autumn 2013 collection. What's to love? Plenty. Here's my edit. My favourite pieces are the first three items shown because I adore white. It's fresh, crisp and feminine. I'll have one of each please.  Which look is your favourite? Well, this week finds me back to the daily grind of full time employment. The holidays already feel like a distant memory. BUT, it's Friday tomorrow, so it's all good. I love my weekends. How's your week been treating you?  Are you doing anything extra exciting this weekend? Keep in touch. Yours in style, Suzi x

Classics: The Black Pant

Must-haves: The essential items in a woman's closet that provide a framework on which to build upon. One of these must-haves is a pair of classic black pants.  I am thrilled to have recently found the most comfortable pair of black pants at a fabulous boutique in the city ,  Swensk . Swensk stock one of my favourite Swedish labels, Fili p pa K.  F ilippa K design contemporary garments for both men & women . Their style aesthetic focus es on classics which have easy, simple, clean lines, suited to modern people who lead busy lives.       Here, I chose to wear my Filippa K Dree twill pants with a print blouse for a chic , relaxed weeken d look. What do you say?  I have already had lots of fun styling these classic black pants with gar ment s from my closet. I 'm looking forward to showing you more in future posts. Watch this space!     Th is weekend we get to enjoy an extra long weekend . For those

M A R N I @ Belinda

Last week, while running a few errands , I decided to stop for a nice little wander around Hawksburn Village. This quaint village boasts a large selection of beautiful boutiques, stocking local and international designer labels. One of my favourites would have to be Belinda .   Belinda stocks one of the most highly desired Italian high-end labels; M A R N I . What drew me to each garment from the current S pring/ Su mmer '13 collection, was the use of simplistic, classic styling, pastel colours and an exquisite and sumptuous selection of Italian fabrics, from silk to cashmere. I was in heaven! On a mannequin draped an adorable, feminine, lemon A-line dress. It actually reminded me of something Miuccia Prada may have designed herself. In fact, there were subtle hints of Miu Miu coming through this collection, for example, in the pocket-placement of the dress and the necklace, not unlike Miu Miu 's Cameo necklace.       Another favourite piece f

The Rachel Zoe Project

I am one to tell you that I don't often watch TV. Most evenings, you'll find me on my laptop, surfing the Net , using various forms of social media, including my blog, Facebook and Twitter. Yes, I'm hooked! Don't get me wrong , it's not that I don't like TV, it's just that it has to take something pretty special to get me to stand up and take notice. As was the case with The Rachel Zoe Project.  The Rachel Zoe Project began in 2008. It showcases the talented Zoe and her life living in New York as a stylist to the stars. The episode which I viewed was from t he fourth series, which premiered on September 6th, 2011. Well, it's better late than never! Discovered in my very own lounge room just last night, I enjoyed every aspect of The Rachel Zoe Project. From Zoe's amazing eye for detail, her own perpective on life as a personal stylist to the stars, to her fabulous style and the beautiful garments, shoes and accessories she gets to play with

Countdown to LMFF

I f it's got anything to do with fashion and it's in my home town, there's no doubt I'm going to be VERY excited! That's why I've already started to count down the days u ntil the launch of the L'Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival . There are just 67 days left to go!! I cannot wait! I will be applying for media accreditation again this year and this time I am hoping it is accepted. I would love to be given the opportunity to support this fabulous festival, so f ingers crossed! Take a sneak peek of the official LMFF 2013 TV commercial below . So how has your week been so far ? This week, I have seen two movies related to style, which I'd love to share with you. Earlier on in the week, I viewed Dianne Vreeland's movie, The Eye has to Travel at Palace Cinema, Como. It was fabulously inspirational. Check it out if you can. Wednesday evening, I finally got the chance to view a movie I had recorded on Foxtel: V alentino: The Last Emperor

A new year, a fresh start

Welcome to 2013! It's been a fabulous start to the year for me personally and I do feel very lucky indeed. I feel fit and healthy and count my blessings for all I have in my life, each and every day. Speaking of the new year, a lot of people have been talking about what new year's resolutions they've made. The most popular ones being losing weight, joining a gym, giving up smoking, and so on and so forth.  In the past, not a year would go by that I didn't make a new year' s resolution. It was kind of something that myself and my family did. I'm not really into this as much these days. I dread the thought o f breaking my resolution and letting myself down as a consequence.  So, what I do instead is something on a broader scale and that's to continue to live life to its fullest. I do have a special rule of thumb that helps me to achieve this and it's to live each day as though it's your last. I don't mean this in a morbid way or anything,

Happy 2013!

Happy New Year to you, my beautiful readers! I am so excited about what the new year brings. How did you welcome in the new year? We celebrated New Year's Eve at home. It was a splendid evening, filled with d elicious seafood , French champagne, lots of laughs and I even broke out some old dance moves (Admittedly, I was a bit sore the next day).   My New Year's Eve started off perfectly , with a trip to miu miu , Chadstone. I purchased the most adorable handbag from the Matelassé collection . This bag is made from calf leather and has the most divine satin cotton lining. I chose the colour Cammeo, which is a neutral colour, exactly what I had been looking for for some time now. I just adore this bag and it certainly ticks all of the right boxes for me.  We've taken some photographs , which capture my excitement as I unveil my new handbag. I hope you enjoy them!   Last of all , I
