Black & Navy









Who says you can't wear black with navy? Black & navy are two of my favourite colour combinations. They are perfect together in every way. I want to wear them more.

 What are your thoughts? Would you wear black & navy together?

 Today was a very relaxing day. After picking up dry cleaning and my birthday present, of which I cannot wait to show you, I spent the afternoon at Laurent Boulangerie-Patisserie, Albert Park. I treated myself to a gluten free cake (everything in moderation), which was the perfect choice to enjoy with a lovely pot of peppermint tea. The company was pretty awesome too. Mum and hubby joined me in this afternoon delight.

gelati in the gardens

I was joking with my better half about the outfit I chose to wear to our special family reunion. We needed to travel into the city to the Fitzroy Gardens, and on our journey, we kept eachother entertained by thinking of gelati flavours which matched my oufit. In the end we decided upon raspberry, strawberry, vanilla & mango! The morning was quite fresh, so I decided to wear a layer of silk/cashmere over my silk chiffon shirt. This magical blend always comes through when I'm in need of extra warmth and comfort. This ensemble was the perfect match for my raspberry coloured skirt!  For a picnic, flats seemed like the perfect choice, because of their practicality. Ballistic for Bally

I have always loved Bally , especially their shoes. They're made with the softest, luxurious leather I have ever worn. Bally were my first ever pair of high end designer shoes and they fit like a glove. So this post is going to be dedicated to one of the most prestigious design houses and their amazingly comfortable, chic shoes.  Here's some of my favourites from Bally's new S/S '12 collection: Which is your favourite? I love the classic black Otty-Crest pump and the teal and navy Palda wedge sandals. Have a great week! Mine will be an interesting one. Like Finding an Old Friend-Anna Thomas AW'26

You know the feeling you get when you bump into an old friend-the feeling is a warm and fuzzy one-well, that is how I would describe my experience today when I stepped inside the beautiful Anna Thomas boutique, Hawksburn.  I was greeted by Eva, she was attentive to my needs and my style aesthetic-showing me a few piece she thought would work, I was wearing a pair of Megan Salmon linen pants in a mustard, almost chartreuse colour. I found a blush pink cotton/silk short sleeve pussy bow blouse (lucky for me it was on sale) and another top from the new AW '26 collection in a dusty pink-Merino wool, with long sleeves (Look One). The sizing is on the slimmer side, which is fantastic as I am slim and most brands are so oversized!
