My hair makeover

So today I spent several hours at my new hairdressers , Lady Marmalade in Beaumaris. Mally did such an amazing job and I am so happy with the result.  I asked for a fuller fringe since for quite some time, it hasn't been sitting right. Now it's thicker and choppier and I can style it in different ways. Oh and I changed the colour back to dark. I feel more like myself now !! If you're needing a style makeover, consider a visit to your hairdresser. The hair is the first step to making you feel and look great!  This weekend has been fairly quiet so far. I've enjoyed being pampered at the hairdressers and I almost fell asleep in their reclining lounge at the basin! So relaxing ! Well, one more sleep and our mums are back from China. I can't wait! Have a great rest of the weekend.  Yours in style, Suzi x

Hair style inspiration

I was flicking through the pages of Google images and came across some inspirational hairstyle pics of Jessica Biel. She is just stunning ! I love her thick fringe and long tresses. I'm getting my hair done on Saturday and cannot wait! I am in need of a change of colour. I will post pi cs for you guys as soon as I can, to show you what I decide. I really miss my long hair so I am desperately trying to grow it again. It seems to be taking forever! This time of the year is always crazy for me with working full time and having to come home to type student reports. So it's not surprising that I am very much l ooking forward to some pampering on the weekend. I am also excited to welcome our mums back from their trip to China on Sunday. Roll on weekend...please!!! Have a great rest of the week! Yours in style, Suzi x images Google

You're the centre of my universe

You're the centre of my universe, for without you, I would not be here, experiencing this wonderful life. You're my mother, my confidente, my best friend. My mother, for the first time in my lifetime, will be celebrating Mother's Day in China . I'm sure she's having the best time ever! Words cannot express the gratitude an d love I feel towards my mum. She truly is the centr e of my universe. Talking about the universe, I recently received this silk printed dress, which was a birthday gift. It is from Karen Walker's AW '13 Fantastique Magnifiqu e collection . I just love the print! It's my first dress in this cut and I'm sure it won't be my last. I love the fluidity of this style, which makes this look very feminine and pretty. The tie belt is ideal for cinching in my waist. I also really like the keyhole back, revealing a hint of skin. Karen Walker is so amazing! What are you up to this weekend? We'...

Black & Navy

Who says you can't wear black with navy? Black & navy are two of my favourite colour combinations . They are perfect together in every way. I want to wear them more. What are your thoughts? Would you wear black & navy together? Today was a very relaxing day. After picking up dry cleaning and my birthday present, of which I cannot wait to show you, I spent the afternoon at Laurent Boulangerie-Patisserie , Albert Park. I treated myself to a gluten free cake (everything in moderation), which was the perfect choice to enjoy with a lovely pot of peppermint tea. The company was pretty awesome too. Mum and hubby joined me in this afternoon delight. Enjoy the weekend . What have you got in store? Well, whatever you do, s tay stylish!
