apartment living

I don't really like 'roughing it' when we go away, hence we stay in nice hotels and the like. During our stay in Charlestown, NSW, we stayed in a really fabulous apartment. I loved the modern furnishings, monochromatic influences and splashes of colour.

I would love to own an apartment to use as a holiday escape! It was really relaxing and had all of life's comforts.

I hope you're having a wonderful Saturday! My day started off really s-l-o-w with a long sleep-in. My brain feels foggy now from too much sleep, but I think I really needed it. Working full time sure is hectic!

    1. I know Ashley. It was amazing! My husband arranged it for us and I was really thrilled. The shoes you like are my absolute favourite. I would love another pair in a different colour. They are made by French label Repetto.

gelati in the gardens

I was joking with my better half about the outfit I chose to wear to our special family reunion. We needed to travel into the city to the Fitzroy Gardens, and on our journey, we kept eachother entertained by thinking of gelati flavours which matched my oufit. In the end we decided upon raspberry, strawberry, vanilla & mango! The morning was quite fresh, so I decided to wear a layer of silk/cashmere over my silk chiffon shirt. This magical blend always comes through when I'm in need of extra warmth and comfort. This ensemble was the perfect match for my raspberry coloured skirt!  For a picnic, flats seemed like the perfect choice, because of their practicality. So I decided to bring a touch of mango to the gelati mix! These mustard coloured, patent leather ballet flats, are so chic and comfortable. They are one of my favourite pairs of Repetto ballet flats, purchased from the fabulous Alice & Deb at Treasurette. Check out ...

Ballistic for Bally

I have always loved Bally , especially their shoes. They're made with the softest, luxurious leather I have ever worn. Bally were my first ever pair of high end designer shoes and they fit like a glove. So this post is going to be dedicated to one of the most prestigious design houses and their amazingly comfortable, chic shoes.  Here's some of my favourites from Bally's new S/S '12 collection: Which is your favourite? I love the classic black Otty-Crest pump and the teal and navy Palda wedge sandals. Have a great week! Mine will be an interesting one. I finish teaching for the term this coming Wednesday and go on a staff retreat to Creswick for the rest of the week. I'm looking forward to breathing in the crisp, clean country air! on my wish list

On my wish list at the moment is this Burberry Prorsum technical silk A-line skirt in black. I absolutely love A-line skirts and dresses! They are universally flattering on every body type. If you don't own an A-line skirt or dress, its an item of clothing that you can always rely on. It can take you from day to night and is guaranteed to make you look amazing with every wear! Unfortunately, Melbourne does not yet carry the Burberry Prorsum line. However, since the line is available in Sydney, that's a pretty good excuse to organise a shopping trip, don't you think? What's on your current wish list? Yours in style, Suzi x Thanks to Burberry for the images xx
