Tiffany 1837

There's nothing quite like standing in front of a Tiffany & Co store, eating a croissant, sipping cafe latte, whilst looking ever-so glamorous. Enveloped in a stunning Black LBD, adorned with pearls, gloves, high heels and a chic handbag. Images of Breakfast at Tiffany's conjure up in my mind, as I peruse the new Tiffany 1837TM collection.

To celebrate their 175th anniversary, Tiffany & Co have created an exclusive limited edition metal, called RUBEDOTM, a stunning rose luminescent gold. Each piece in the RUBEDOTM collection has been inscribed with the name, Charles Lewis Tiffany, founder of Tiffany & Co. These pieces are only available throughout 2012, making them highly collectible.

Tiffany & Co is a name synonymous with luxury and quality in workmanship. To own a piece of the RUBEDOTM collection would be an incredible acquisition for anyone. Tiffany & Co are available for purchase online and in stores across the world. Check their website for further details.

Hope you're all having a great week and enjoy what the weekend has to offer you. I will be madly typing away at student reports. What's on for your weekend?

Whatever you do, wherever you are, remember to have fun! Life is far too short.

Yours in style,

Suzi x

gelati in the gardens

I was joking with my better half about the outfit I chose to wear to our special family reunion. We needed to travel into the city to the Fitzroy Gardens, and on our journey, we kept eachother entertained by thinking of gelati flavours which matched my oufit. In the end we decided upon raspberry, strawberry, vanilla & mango! The morning was quite fresh, so I decided to wear a layer of silk/cashmere over my silk chiffon shirt. This magical blend always comes through when I'm in need of extra warmth and comfort. This ensemble was the perfect match for my raspberry coloured skirt!  For a picnic, flats seemed like the perfect choice, because of their practicality. So I decided to bring a touch of mango to the gelati mix! These mustard coloured, patent leather ballet flats, are so chic and comfortable. They are one of my favourite pairs of Repetto ballet flats, purchased from the fabulous Alice & Deb at Treasurette. Check out

Ballistic for Bally

I have always loved Bally , especially their shoes. They're made with the softest, luxurious leather I have ever worn. Bally were my first ever pair of high end designer shoes and they fit like a glove. So this post is going to be dedicated to one of the most prestigious design houses and their amazingly comfortable, chic shoes.  Here's some of my favourites from Bally's new S/S '12 collection: Which is your favourite? I love the classic black Otty-Crest pump and the teal and navy Palda wedge sandals. Have a great week! Mine will be an interesting one. I finish teaching for the term this coming Wednesday and go on a staff retreat to Creswick for the rest of the week. I'm looking forward to breathing in the crisp, clean country air! Fashion fads come & go, but real style stands the test of time. As mentioned earlier, I'm one for classics versus trends. I love buying clothing that lasts and is therefore timeless.  I have put myself up for the challenge of finding classic pieces using Audrey Hepburn as an example. Here's my list of the top ten must-haves!! 1. Man's style classic buttoned down white shirt 2. LBD-Little Black Dress 3. A-Line dress/skirt 4. Trench Coat (Burberry is the original) 5. Black turtleneck sweater (Preferably cashmere) 6. Leopard print (one piece at a time/NEVER more than one!!) 7. Silk Scarf (Preferably Hermes) 8. Ballet Flats 9. Pearls (Earrings/necklace) 10. Investment handbag (look to Chanel, Louis Vuitton and Prada for classic styles)   What's your favourite out of my top ten must-haves?  Enjoy your weekend and, whatever you do, make sure you do it in st
