In the navy

Tonight, we are catching up with old friends for dinner at a quaint Thai restaurant. After a little bit of deliberating, I decided to wear this navy Karen Walker bow dress because it's quite a warm evening here in Melbourne. I love the fact the dress has no sleeves, yet comes down to the knees. It's quite a demure style, but allows enough skin to be on show. It's also very feminine and classy; my choice for an evening out with friends. While I was getting ready, I also managed a quick manicure and pedicure u sing the OPI nude shade Barefoot in Barcelona. What is your preferred outfit for a night out with friends? Audrey Style: Pretty Dresses for Spring

It's Springtime here in my hometown, Melbourne, Australia. Melbourne has a reputation of having four seasons in one day. It's true and I really like it! Lately, though it's been feeling a lot more like Summer, with days,  in the low 30s in the middle of Spring! Bazaar, isn't it? Whenever I think of Springtime,  I always think of pretty dresses. Of course, pretty dresses do not have to be limited to just the one season! There's something about a pretty dress that makes you feel so wonderfully feminine and elegant. I find inspiration in the dresses Audrey Hepburn wore, in both her movies and off set. From couture gowns designed by Givenchy, to more classic styles, Audrey wore these dresses like nobody else. The styles are classic and timeless, so remain as stylish as they were back then. Audrey is the epitome of elegance and prettiness. Here is a collection of my all time favourite dresses from the Audrey archives. I hope y

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

Yesterday, I picked up my Christmas present to myself from Burberry . Intially. I never really intended upon getting myself anything, but knew I wanted something new to wear for Christmas Day. After I picked up my garment, I decided it would go under the Christmas tree for me to open on Christmas Day. I ordered my Christmas present online as it was not available in store. I don't really have an issue with this because it's a simple process to follow. Delivery is free and returns are a cinch. I always choose the option of collect-in-store. The professional and friendly staff at Burberry are always efficient in finding my order and are so helpful when it comes to trying on the garment and making my final choice as to whether or not it the right fit and style. I purchased my Burberry Prorsum cashmere sweater in the exact same way. I absolutely love this sweater and am so glad I made the choice to order it online. While I was at Chadstone, I stopped

Burberry London

One of my favourite international high-end designers is Burberry London . Burberry London's garments are made from superior quality, using the most divine of fabrics, including luxurious silks and cashmere. I will keep coming back to Burberry London because of this. Their garments are, put simply, beautiful! What I have my eye on this month, is the 100% silk pleat and bow tunic shirt in the colour military navy. It features a demure bow at the neck and feminine pleats running vertically down the centre panel at the front of the garment. I like the snap closure and button features as it means you can create more of casual look as well. Versatility is the key in making the most of your wardrobe. The more looks created from one garment, the better for you (and your pocket too). This stunning silk tunic shirt would be the perfect partner to my Burberry London navy skirt as featured in a previous blog post (click here to see). Remember, the key to investment dressing is t
