Colour my World

Today was a very cloudy, overcast kind of day. When I woke up this morning, I was feeling rather dreary and the weather outside did not do much to lift my spirits. I put on my dark grey sweater and felt even worse!! Something had to change, so I did just that. I changed!
I found my beloved coloured, striped, short-sleeved sweater and layered this over my grey long sleeved woolen top. Instantly my mood lifted! 
Colour changes my world. Does it change yours too?

    Thanks! I shop in various boutiques around Melbourne, depending on where I am. There are so many beautiful boutiques to choose from. That's one of the many reasons why I love Melbourne so much.

gelati in the gardens

I was joking with my better half about the outfit I chose to wear to our special family reunion. We needed to travel into the city to the Fitzroy Gardens, and on our journey, we kept eachother entertained by thinking of gelati flavours which matched my oufit. Ballistic for Bally

I have always loved Bally , especially their shoes. They're made with the softest, luxurious leather I have ever worn. Bally were my first ever pair of high end designer shoes and they fit like a glove. So this post is going to be dedicated to one of the most prestigious design houses and their amazingly comfortable, chic shoes.  Here's some of my favourites from Bally's new S/S '12 collection: Which is your favourite? Paint Spot

I've always loved dresses with spots, ever since I spotted Julia Roberts from the movie Pretty Woman, wearing one. They're so feminine and pretty.  A couple of months ago, while perusing Karen Walker 's Spring/Summer collection online, I eyed this paint spot dress and couldn't resist it. I decided I would wear it on Christmas Day, rain, hail or shine. I was so lucky Melbourne's weather was behaving itself that day. Lucky for me! I cannot believe Christmas has been and gone already and now we're into the new year. Over the festive season, a wonderful time was had, catching up with family and my closest friends. We made the traditional roast with all of the trimmings and it was such a perfect day. Christmas has to be my favourite time of the year. How about you? What did you do?
