Me & Missoni

Makes a girl smile her biggest smile, Makes her wonder a little while, Of all the things that make her life complete.  Missoni,  you sure are life's little treat! Love, love, love my new Missoni dress! The design, the fit, the style, the way it makes me feel. It really is the perfect dress. Enough said.       Hubby and I celebrated a belated Valentine's Day dinner this evening at a Greek tavern in Hampton. Of course, it was the perfect excuse to wear my new Missoni dress! We couldn't go out on the 14th as we had to look after our beloved pooch, Scruffy, who had an operation to remove bladder stones. Poor pup! Needless to say, he's going really well and is on the mend. Thank God for that!   Wishing you a wonderfully stylish weekend! Yours in style, Suzi x Dress: M Missoni Heels (not shown): Repetto

plaid

I have such a soft spot for anything plaid, mainly skirts and dresses. The king of plaid was the late and legendary Lee Alexander McQueen himself, who had a penchant for plaid as well. It's so wonderful that Alexander's legacy has been able to continue with Sarah Burton, appointed head designer of the brand back in May, 2010. Such big shoes to fill in my opinion, which I believe she has done to an extent. With due respect, of course, Alexander remains irreplaceable. Sarah has achieved many awards, amongst her most significant, an O.B (Order for the British Empire), awarded in June, 2012. Just what did she do to be awarded such an honorable accolade? Sarah Burton has made such an impression on the British fashion industry and this has lead to her being recognised for her vital contribution. I'm certain Alexander McQueen would be most proud.  Please enjoy these images of my favourite looks from the MCQ collections of Alexander McQueen. I hope you
