Design Master-Aurelio Costarella

Award-winning Australian designer, Aurelio Costarella's Spring Summer '13 range is simply stunning. With women wanting to look their very best this racing season, choosing a piece from this design master, will have everyone swooning.

What I'm loving about this collection are the A-line dresses. They are flattering on almost every figure. What I also love about this collection is the colour palette.

Aurelio offers women black & white monochrome looks, as well as very soft, romantic, feminine pastels. For those of you wanting some glitz and glamour, there are dresses perfectly tailored for a cocktail rendezvous or elegant soiree.

What I find truly outstanding about Aurelio's craftmanship is his sheer ability to create stunning gowns and cocktail dresses which flatter the female figure, draping at the right places and cinching in where it is most flattering. I really cannot fault this collection and adore every piece.

You can find the new Aurelio Costarella collection at Eliza Baker, 447 High Street, Prahan East or online at JASU.

Which gown have you got your eye on?

Melbourne turned on its best weather today! How I love Spring days.

gelati in the gardens

I was joking with my better half about the outfit I chose to wear to our special family reunion. We needed to travel into the city to the Fitzroy Gardens, and on our journey, we kept eachother entertained by thinking of gelati flavours which matched my oufit. In the end we decided upon raspberry, strawberry, vanilla & mango! The morning was quite fresh, so I decided to wear a layer of silk/cashmere over my silk chiffon shirt. This magical blend always comes through when I'm in need of extra warmth and comfort. This ensemble was the perfect match for my raspberry coloured skirt!  For a picnic, flats seemed like the perfect choice, because of their practicality. So I decided to bring a touch of mango to the gelati mix! These mustard coloured, patent leather ballet flats, are so chic and comfortable. They are one of my favourite pairs of Repetto ballet flats, purchased from the fabulous Alice & Deb at Treasurette. Check out

Ballistic for Bally

I have always loved Bally , especially their shoes. They're made with the softest, luxurious leather I have ever worn. Bally were my first ever pair of high end designer shoes and they fit like a glove. So this post is going to be dedicated to one of the most prestigious design houses and their amazingly comfortable, chic shoes.  Here's some of my favourites from Bally's new S/S '12 collection: Which is your favourite? I love the classic black Otty-Crest pump and the teal and navy Palda wedge sandals. Have a great week! Mine will be an interesting one. I finish teaching for the term this coming Wednesday and go on a staff retreat to Creswick for the rest of the week. I'm looking forward to breathing in the crisp, clean country air! Black turtleneck sweater (Preferably cashmere) 6. Leopard print (one piece at a time/NEVER more than one!!) 7. Silk Scarf (Preferably Hermes) 8. Ballet Flats 9. Pearls (Earrings/necklace) 10. Investment handbag (look to Chanel, Louis Vuitton and Prada for classic styles)   What's your favourite out of my top ten must-haves?  Enjoy your weekend and, whatever you do, make sure you do it in st
