Blazers!

As most of you probably know by reading my blog, I'm more of a sweater girl, but there are days where I feel like wearing a blazer. My absolute favourite has to be my Max & Co boxy taupe blazer. Max & Co are part of the MaxMara Group, who also own Christensen Copenhagen . They stock some of the most amazing pieces and their tailoring is superb! I love pairing my jeans with a blazer. It's the epitomy of chic. I enjoy wearing this because of the multitude of styling options. It even looks fabulous worn over an LBD! That's why I prefer to invest in pieces, because I know that the cost per wear far outweighs the initial expense.    This blazer is a boxy, cropped fit, which suits a petite frame. I enjoy wearing this one because it's so comfortable and looks great whether it's buttoned up or left undone. The ruched sleeves are cropped and have buttons. In addition to this, there are two buttons on the back with ruching. ...

all buttoned up

There's something about a shirt that's all  buttoned up. It's sleek, clean & crisp. I need to be in the mood for wearing one though, because there are times when I cannot stand anything wrapped around my neck, hence the lack of scarves in my wardrobe! I'm working on it though. I hope all of you are having a fabulous week and are enjoying all of the fun that style brings with it. Thanks for all of your support with my blog, For the Love of Audrey. I am truly grateful. x How do you prefer to wear your shirts? Buttoned up or buttoned down? Yours in style, Suzi x  What I'm Wearing: Shirt-Ralph Lauren, Skirt-Yeojin Bae, Wedges-Repetto.

paper back lovers

Until recently, I had only ever read about Camilla & Marc and seen their creations gracing the pages of glossy mags, such as Harper's Bazaar and Vogue Australia. That is, until I stepped foot into their creative space along the Paris-lesque Street known as High Street, Armadale. I found so many amazing garments hanging deliciously on each hanger, I knew that this label would be one to keep on my style radar. I visited the boutique when Camilla & Marc still had their Spring/Summer '11 range out. The dress below was on sale and I'm kicking myself that I didn't purchase it there and then. The bottom half which is a gorgeous green shade is actually made from suede. I love the vibrant blue hues, contrasting with the yellow and green. Pure genius!   One of my absolute favourites in the Camilla & Marc's new AW '12 Paperback Lovers range is the Maggie May LBD. Although it isn't a classic A-line shape, I love it because of its flatteri...

Ready to Launch!

Last night I was one of the lucky people who attended the official launch of Couturing.com, held at the historical Melbourne GPO . Lisa Teh and Thom Whilton are the two amazing faces behind this amazing website (check it out here if you haven't done so already!).  Upon entering the GPO, I felt like royalty, as I walked along the red carpet to the venue located on Level 1. As I entered the venue, I could hear the pumping sounds of a DJ, churning out hit after hit, getting me into a party mode instantly.  I loved the floral & bottle arrangement, c/o fleurs , arranged meticulously upon wooden shelves. It brought an air of sophistication and chic to the room, which was bright from the Melbourne sunlight, streaming though the ornate windows.  Amongst the crowd were stylish fashionistas, designers, such as Sarah Conners , stylists such as the fabulous Sally, from Styled by Sally , and fellow bloggers, Michelle from Michelle's Style File , Cecylia ...
