Goodbye, my friend

Whenever I walk into Arabella Ramsay on High Street, Armadale, it's just like popping in to see a friend. The ambiance inside this boutique is really quite special, like nothing I have ever experienced before. There's a kind of quietness and peace within.

So you can imagine how saddened I was with the news of Arabella's closure of this really special boutique. It was a great surprise to me and I was lost for words.


I was relieved to read in the email I received from Arabella Ramsay that her designs will still be available online and in other "new and exciting places" in the near future. In the meantime, I urge you to visit from 9am, Friday, 27th July, to receive up to 80% off and to see for yourselves just how special this place really is.


So, this post is dedicated to Arabella Ramsay and her divine boutique. I wish you every luck Arabella in your new venture. Thank-you for sharing such a special part of yourself with us. Your boutique, just like a friend whom goes away, will be greatly missed.

      Glad you enjoyed the pics! Yes, it's a shame they're closing, but at least Arabella will continue to have her designs available. She is an incredible talent.

gelati in the gardens

I was joking with my better half about the outfit I chose to wear to our special family reunion. We needed to travel into the city to the Fitzroy Gardens, and on our journey, we kept eachother entertained by thinking of gelati flavours which matched my oufit. Ballistic for Bally

I have always loved Bally , especially their shoes. They're made with the softest, luxurious leather I have ever worn. Bally were my first ever pair of high end designer shoes and they fit like a glove. So this post is going to be dedicated to one of the most prestigious design houses and their amazingly comfortable, chic shoes.  Here's some of my favourites from Bally's new S/S '12 collection: Which is your favourite? I love the classic black Otty-Crest pump and the teal and navy Palda wedge sandals. Have a great week! Mine will be an interesting one. Paint Spot

I've always loved dresses with spots, ever since I spotted Julia Roberts from the movie Pretty Woman, wearing one. They're so feminine and pretty.  A couple of months ago, while perusing Karen Walker 's Spring/Summer collection online, I eyed this paint spot dress and couldn't resist it. I decided I would wear it on Christmas Day, rain, hail or shine. I was so lucky Melbourne's weather was behaving itself that day. Lucky for me! I cannot believe Christmas has been and gone already and now we're into the new year. Over the festive season, a wonderful time was had, catching up with family and my closest friends. We made the traditional roast with all of the trimmings and it was such a perfect day. Christmas has to be my favourite time of the year. How about you? What did you do?
