Shiny! Shiny!

Do you want shiny hair? Buy yourself a heat protector. It has made such a difference to my hair. I purchased one from my hairdresser during my last visit. The L'Oreal Kerastase Nectar Thermique is a leave in balm, which when applied, goes on smoothly without weighing down my fine hair. After all of the heat styling with my hairdryer and then my GHD hair straighteners, my hair is left feeling fabulously shiny. Shiny! Shiny!

I can't believe another weekend has come and gone and that I have to go to work tomorrow. The weekend was quite a relaxing one, although I did have to finish off my reports for part of it.

I'm looking forward to the long weekend coming. Hubby and I are off to stay in the city in a five star hotel. We are in need of some well-deserved R&R. I'm really looking forward to that!

How was your weekend? Did you get up to much?

Enjoy your week,

Yours in style,

Suzi x

gelati in the gardens

I was joking with my better half about the outfit I chose to wear to our special family reunion. We needed to travel into the city to the Fitzroy Gardens, and on our journey, we kept eachother entertained by thinking of gelati flavours which matched my oufit. In the end we decided upon raspberry, strawberry, vanilla & mango! The morning was quite fresh, so I decided to wear a layer of silk/cashmere over my silk chiffon shirt. This magical blend always comes through when I'm in need of extra warmth and comfort. This ensemble was the perfect match for my raspberry coloured skirt!  For a picnic, flats seemed like the perfect choice, because of their practicality. So I decided to bring a touch of mango to the gelati mix! These mustard coloured, patent leather ballet flats, are so chic and comfortable. They are one of my favourite pairs of Repetto ballet flats, purchased from the fabulous Alice & Deb at Treasurette. Check out

I love miu mui

My absolute favourite international designer has to be mui mui . I find myself falling in love again and again, with each new season collection. Muiccia Prada's label is fun, feminine and fabulous!  We're really lucky to have a mui mui store in Melbourne actually. For anyone who has ever been to Chadstone Shopping Centre, you would know it is the fashion Mecca for anyone looking for high-end designer clothing and accessories. Every single time I go to Chadstone, without fail, I pay a special visit to mui mui. I know mui mui garments, shoes, and accessories are on the more expensive side, but a girl can dream right? There's just something extremely appealing to me that keeps me coming back season after season. Now to save up for a piece to call my own some day...            Do you have a high-end international designer who you really enjoy? Who is it and what makes them so appealing to you? Enjoy t

Ballistic for Bally

I have always loved Bally , especially their shoes. They're made with the softest, luxurious leather I have ever worn. Bally were my first ever pair of high end designer shoes and they fit like a glove. So this post is going to be dedicated to one of the most prestigious design houses and their amazingly comfortable, chic shoes.  Here's some of my favourites from Bally's new S/S '12 collection: Which is your favourite? I love the classic black Otty-Crest pump and the teal and navy Palda wedge sandals. Have a great week! Mine will be an interesting one. I finish teaching for the term this coming Wednesday and go on a staff retreat to Creswick for the rest of the week. I'm looking forward to breathing in the crisp, clean country air!
