Preppy

It's nice to be able to walk into a shop and know that the majority of the items off the rack are most likely going to fit you for a change. I do have my trusty tailor on hand but I would prefer to buy garments which require very little altering. Max & Co is one such shop.

I purchased an outfit from Max and Co a couple of months ago from their Spring/Summer collection. I promise to feature this in a  special blog post for Christmas. Hopefully the suspense won't be too much to bear! Since Max and Co is an Italian label, they are a season ahead of Australia. Here is a snippet of their current Preppy collection for Autumn/Winter.



  

 Max & Co never ceases to disappoint me in their choice of chic, feminine classic pieces. Plus, I'm a sucker for stripes and tartan!

 I'm really looking forward to relaxing over this weekend. Work has been flat out and it's that crazy time of the year again. I'm looking forward to walking along the beach on Sunday, since the weather will be nice and warm.

gelati in the gardens

I was joking with my better half about the outfit I chose to wear to our special family reunion. We needed to travel into the city to the Fitzroy Gardens, and on our journey, we kept eachother entertained by thinking of gelati flavours which matched my oufit. In the end we decided upon raspberry, strawberry, vanilla & mango! The morning was quite fresh, so I decided to wear a layer of silk/cashmere over my silk chiffon shirt. This magical blend always comes through when I'm in need of extra warmth and comfort. This ensemble was the perfect match for my raspberry coloured skirt!  For a picnic, flats seemed like the perfect choice, because of their practicality. So I decided to bring a touch of mango to the gelati mix! These mustard coloured, patent leather ballet flats, are so chic and comfortable. I love miu mui

My absolute favourite international designer has to be mui mui . I find myself falling in love again and again, with each new season collection. Muiccia Prada's label is fun, feminine and fabulous!  We're really lucky to have a mui mui store in Melbourne actually. For anyone who has ever been to Chadstone Shopping Centre, you would know it is the fashion Mecca for anyone looking for high-end designer clothing and accessories. Every single time I go to Chadstone, without fail, I pay a special visit to mui mui. I know mui mui garments, shoes, and accessories are on the more expensive side, but a girl can dream right? There's just something extremely appealing to me that keeps me coming back season after season. Ballistic for Bally

I have always loved Bally , especially their shoes. They're made with the softest, luxurious leather I have ever worn. Bally were my first ever pair of high end designer shoes and they fit like a glove. So this post is going to be dedicated to one of the most prestigious design houses and their amazingly comfortable, chic shoes.  Here's some of my favourites from Bally's new S/S '12 collection: Which is your favourite? I love the classic black Otty-Crest pump and the teal and navy Palda wedge sandals. Have a great week! Mine will be an interesting one.
